Eurovision 2026
This year's Eurovision Song Contest is being held in Vienna, Austria, and the finals are scheduled for 16 May 2026. The Columbus Scandinavian Club will be co-hosting the final event in conjunction with Germania Society, and the Columbus Maennerchor. The delayed televised viewing will take place at Germania in their meeting hall. The program will start around 1400 HRS, and the singing will start around 1500 HRS. Germania is located at 543 S. Front Street, Columbus 43215. There will be a cash bar and those in attendance can bring food or snacks for themselves and or to share with the groups. April's Scantini will be held on Tuesday, April 14 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at Gallo's Taproom. All are welcome! It’s okay if you can’t stay the entire time or make it right at 5 pm - we’d love to have you! Please RSVP, so the event coordinator knows how many to expect.

Syttende Mai Come celebrate Norwegian Constitution Day with us! We'll be meeting at the IKEA on Polaris (1900 Ikea Way) There will be a short program on Norwegian wood carving, a fun parade with the Norwegian flag with kids and Norwegian Bunads and all who want to parade, an invitation to bring and share a single Norwegian treasure (smaller than a breadbox) with Scandinavian friends and new colleagues plus coffee and reasonable Scandinavian style breakfast would be attractive to many. We hope we get the chance to celebrate with you!

April's SkandiKaffe will be held on Thursday, April 16, 10 AM, at the Spiro's Plaza Café at 2958 McKinley Ave. in Columbus, OH 43204. We’d love to share coffee & brunch with you! Then, they serve lunch. Celebrate the magic of midsummer with the Scandinavian Club of Columbus at our annual Midsommar Festival on the shore of Alum Creek.Join us for an evening of Scandinavian food, music, games, community, and tradition. We’ll decorate the maypole, enjoy a traditional herring table and buffet, browse the Scandi-Shop, and gather for Midsommar dancing and games.Bring your family, friends, and plenty of midsummer cheer as we celebrate age-old traditions, strengthen community ties, and welcome the summer season together.
